Hartikka Tree Farms is a family run business started in 1955 growing Christmas trees as a part-time operation and has grown into a full-time business on three farms. We are located in Eastern Connecticut near the Rhode Island State boundary.

At Hartikka Tree Farms, we stand behind our product 100%. We have 50 years experience and are still growing. Hartikka's is a high volume producer of Fraser Firs and we offer full service on tree's, wreaths, roping, and brush. Over 90% of our business is from repeat customers.

Hartikka's reputation has been of excellent service, consistent quality and satisfaction guaranteed. We are conveniently located between Boston and New York, and our moderate climate makes it possible to cut trees near the date of shipment.

Sandy loam soils and ideal growing conditions make it possible to grow high quality trees and nursery stock. Everything we grow is started from the best of tree seeds.

Large trees, nine feet and over are also grown on Hartikka Tree Farms and are very popular because of cathedral ceilings in many homes, etc. They require very special care to grow because of their size.

November begins the making of Garlands and Wreaths of all sizes. Fresh cut greens from our farms are brought in daily to keep this activity functioning.

We have always grown our own transplants using the best seeds available. Recently we have expanded this operation and we now offer our customers container grown seedlings and transplants along with bareroot stock.
